Writing non-fiction seems of little challenge - one just jots down the facts, right? But Don McDowell's long experience in non-fiction writing leads him to conclude that all the usual issues still stand. Plots need to be developed, the audience and readership have to be considered if writing style is to present the story so that it has the desired impact.
